Good on you for taking this as a way to ease up and recalibrate. Assessing progress includes identifying and correcting mistakes and weaknesses, which also happens to be where the most progress stands to be made. Keep going at it the smart way and progress is inevitable.

Thanks dude. I figure I'll never progress if I just keep doing the same things over and over. That whole thing about perfect practice makes perfect has always really stuck with me... and I've always thought that the most successful people at something, are the hardest working - but not just in the gym, but in their research and planning, etc.
