Hi Creative minds, with Optimistic hearts! How are you doing? I've been away for weeks now. I got caught up by hectic academic and organizational duties. Anyway, here is a blog for my fun and heart touching experience at the most unexpected place. Enjoy Reading!
Back in December 2023, my sister and I had a relaxing and fun vacation at Belmont One, Cebu South Road, Upper Calajoan, Minglanilla, Cebu.
ANJO WORLD
It was an amusement park where both kids and adults can have excitement from the thrilling and gigantic rides, creating not only happiness but also lasting memories.
From the North Terminal or South Terminal, you can ride a bus then it will drop you at the entrance of Anjo World. There are two options upon entering, an unlimited pass for over 600 pesos, or a three-ride pass for over 300 pesos. You'll get a wrist verification and a stamp.
When you enter the gates, you will be welcomed by the fountains. Everywhere you look, you'll see world-wonders inspired places or gigantic rides. They also have calmer rides and small game stalls.
First Feature would be their, ala Singaporean Ferris Wheel. It rotates steadily and comfortably for over five minutes. The cabins are spacious, and the view fully satisfies the eyes. An overwhelming feeling washes over you as you look down and take in the 360 view of the city lights.
Then there's the Pharaoh Roller Coaster, which twists and turns along its rails, up and down. You'll either enjoy the ride or vomit outside. Regardless, all the screams are most definitely worth it, and you'll more likely want to ride again.
The legendary Viking ride is in there too! With its alternate swings, you'll definitely feel like you have wings. You can either sit on the edge or in the middle; either way, you'll still scream.
Then the Tower Drop. This is good for those people who loves uncertainty -just like how you fell for that person unexpectedly. Kidding! You're slowly elevated, safely seated, and then suddenly dropped, creating a thrilling experience.
Then, there's the Boomerang. You can really boost your scream and shouts on this ride. It starts by slowly spinning and swinging vertically, then it increases in momentum. Being dizzy is a common response though. I remember having a slow-motion moment where, when I opened my eyes, the moon was huge and bright, as if it were right in front of me. That was a memorable moment.
Then just in front, is the Bumper London Taxi rides. While not nerve-wracking, it's a lot of fun because you can bump around with numerous people, making in lots of laughter.
Moving to the left, you'll find Parisian-inspired structures, a bridge, and bumper boats. It's a peaceful area where you can enjoy a cup of coffee at Coffee Colosseum, relax by the Pool Lounge, or take a leisurely boat ride under the bridge. A lot of stores are chained together nearby too.
See? You name it, Anjo World got it!
You also don't have to worry about missing out on souvenirs, as booths and shops are located around every corner.
Finally, the most unique attraction at Anjo World is Snow World. And when I say snow, I truly mean snow. They have artificial snow inside, and the temperature drops negatively freezing, beyond normal warmth. So, you'll need to rent a cape and buy gloves and earmuffs to stay warm.
Inside, you'll find two-story snow structures, a hot coffee shop for a warm break, and an ice slide for some fun. Taking pictures is not allowed inside because they have their own photographer. All you need to do is enjoy the experience. All I did inside was to be a kid again, play with all the snow ang go around the small village.
personal photography devices are not allowed inside so this was the only photo I got
But you know what? The best part of visiting Anjo World was experiencing all the excitement I had only imagined, especially the extreme rides and Snow World. Fulfilling my inner child's superficial desires was deeply satisfying. Not just that, the bond I strengthened with my sister was something not worth trading also. It was like a perfect Christmas gift after a year of focusing on serious matters.
Perhaps, this is something we should give ourselves also. The privilege to be our young selves for a period of time.
This would be all. Enjoy your week and thank you for reading.

Wow! I want to go there too. How much is the ticket? Where can I get a ticket? Is it pre selling online or onsite?
That's great to hear, you would enjoy the place too! The entrance fee and the number of rides depends on what promo package you'll choose. When we went there, over 300 pesos for 3 rides only ang over 600 for the unlimited rides, excluding the 200 pesos fee for the Snow World. You can get it on both, onsite and online. I think you just got to visit their website. But onsite would be most certain.
