That's right, it's time for my first official announcement of a workshop for @Anarchaforko!
On Friday, February 22nd, from 7-8:30pm, we'll be doing a practice in identifying & naming our observations, as compared to our imaginations. This may sound somewhat elementary, but you may be surprised just how much of the story that people experience is actually being created by their imagination, and is not based in objective reality.
All of our beliefs, biases, traumas, fears, and past experiences create a sort of filter for our sensory input, which is already extremely limited and narrow. It is unlikely that any of us will ever truly experience what is objectively real or true; as long as we are in this physical human form, we are going to only have access to a small percent of the universe.
With this knowledge and the use of mindfulness we can certainly refine our mental filters, and get closer to objective reality, or at least have a level of awareness around where our story differs from reality.
This evening, we'll be exploring this topic from the angles of psychology, neurology, philosophy, and metaphysics. We will do a few activities that will showcase our own filters, and help us to deconstruct them and begin to see through clearer lenses. This event will be interactive, light, and educational, and I look forward to seeing you there!

What is Anarchaforko?

Because the very nature of the fork is so different from most any other conference you've heard of, there is no speaker list, the schedule is made by all of us, and the answer to any question about "What happens there?" is generally something like "What are you bringing to share?"
One of the great ideas that has been implemented for the Fork is a 50% affiliate program..
