Wage Slavery and Capitalism (The most effective method to escape the System)

in #anarchy8 years ago

Letting me know why now historically we currently live in a time unlike any other technology is changing at an ever evolving rate making things like lifespan and health itself more accessible to most of the world

As well as bring our cultures and societies for the most part together as one we are slowly but
surely unifying into a very utopian species.

But this westernization and growing global society also tends to be taking its toll mainly on our income so income inequality is skyrocketing at a rate it never has before in known human history.

This effectively is leaving the average family and average citizen very low on money and essentially hung out to dry.

And because of this income inequality almost all people are being forced into a new line of 21st century slavery and this is known as wage slavery now in the past at least here in America slavery was black and white literally.

When it started you were either one hundred percent a slave our you are a free human being able to do whatever you want in live this is what's known as charrel slavery what we think about when we watch the show roots or we see somebody in chains they are property of another human being but for the most part especially in the last 200 years time have changed. But we're left with this wage slavery is a much more hidden and hard to see version of slavery this is because of the fact that it's based off money.

See in the past humans worked for themselves we work for our community we worked for our own food we planted crops we grew these things we ate them but for the most part we were pretty much responsible for our livelihood but this all changed about a hundred years ago when commodities became a major thing and a major point of interest trough the likes of people suggest a béarnaise and i would definitely recommend reading his book on propaganda the systems that surround us kind of fooled us into thinking we needed certain things or if we didn't have XYZ we're really living life this led to thing's costing more but us getting paid the same amount of money and a wage slave.

Very simply put is somebody who requires and relies on the soul company or place they work to fuel their existence to pay for their rent their food their health all of their money comes from this one source.

A photographer that runs his own business and travels and takes pictures that's a free man but a restaurant manager who is solely reliant on his nine to five job to pay his mortgage an to help feed his kids that is a wage slave even if you don't know you are a wage slave you can probably see it now reading this article if you're in one of these situations where your sole job is your lifeline to everything you know in your life.

Currently seeing the past titles meant something to be an executive officer to be a storefront manager to be a big bold brash name wherever you worked may you would be fine meant that you had the income to live up to this title but that's not the case anymore as rent and food and commodities continue to rise in price and our payment stays the same we find ourselves grasping at straws we find ourselves unable to afford the things we've been able to afford our whole lives and throwing in that if we have a family this means even less money if we are trying get around in a car it means less money if we are trying to take our kids somewhere they want to go it means less money and for trying to cook and eat healthier say organic it means less money in some cases so if you are trying to live a better life and more often than not cost more money than living a dull borin on healthy life and the biggest problem with this wage slavery came and comes in the for of credit cards of banks giving us credit to borrow their money to pay them back interest so if you borrow a hundred dollars from your bank and you make that hundred dollars back in a month you now owe them a hundred and three dollars.

So you technically lost money simply because you were borrowing it and this takes a toll on a lot of people and is why the majority of western culture in Unites states is in debt essentially even when we think these systems to help us out to make our lives better.

They usually don't know what all these systems work to gether it shows how hard life can be for somebody who isn't instinctively born into a rich family or into a system where they know they can make money life is trial and error and if we make one misstep we may find ourselves in the position of being a wage slave and this is because life is hard for most people even getting a job itself can be a very difficult thing especially from an independent company so many companies these days require these these these skills that we have no way of attaining as a beginner going into a workforce.

But there is one sector of work that does and this is corporations, corporations feed off the innocent with no work skills because they know they can throw this in to position of not being able to get out and this is why so many people are forced to end up working these minimum wage hourly jobs where they don't want to work because they are at a point already where they have to have this money to survive or to continue living the life they want.

It's a system where even when you are promoted your pain may go up a thousand or thousand dollars a year yet you're gaining hundreds of more hours of responsibilities these are systems with no room for professional growth or development in our personal lives or our business lives this lack of development is what changes this from a job to a form of slavery because when you are in these positions you really can't say no when you are in a position where you rely on this single company to pay your bills to keep you from being homeless if they ask you to do something or tell you to do something you really don't have the opinion of the possibility to be an individual and say no because if you do this more likely than not they will cast aside will fire you and we'll find somebody to replace you who will do it that is wage slavery that is what fuels system where they can get away with anything they want.

I for one am fortune enough to have yes work day jobs but also had a cushion ans a great family to lay back on and know that if anything ever went wrong I would be all right but many of my friends and people I've grown up knowing especially in the places I've been in life haven't had his opportunity have been stuck in a place where if they made one mistake that's it they would be done before they would have nowhere else to turn and that's a scary thing this begs the question how do we escape this system how do we remove ourselves from wage slavery let's find out.

let me start by saying this is just an article on steemit and that everyone's life and their chance to make it out of the system there may be stuck in right now will be different and will nor be the same and will not be as easy as someone Else's and that being said the key to starting this whole entire process is patience is being aware that if you want to enact a change it will take step by step and daily actions to make it happen or come to fruition whether it be tomorrow or five years from now it just won't happen overnight.

I myself am just now after 23 years of working day jobs and working on articles getting to he point where i even feel financially comfortable with being able to do whatever i want it took time to get here and it was a stressful venture at time so i can imagine if you're already in a position where it hurts you must be resilient and you must be willing to start to commit to change.

But other than this there are only really two main ways we can never change our lives to escape these systems and they were some very plainly by a man named Thomas Corley.

One is pretty simple we must adjust live below our means this means we have to spend less than we make even at our minimum wage job if that's all possible for you you might think it's not but all i can say it to you is if you really want to change this will be a part of it you have to budget everything you do i budget everything I do from what I eat to whether or not it's free wishes to go out and explore adventure at a certain time it's a always a conscious awareness of what money you have versus what you have versus what you think you can spend i rarely go out and eat when i have food in my fridge still because i don't want that food to go bad and i will wait till the last possible second to go buy new groceries if i still have anything i can cook in my refrigerator this is just one small example of how we can be more efficient

In our bank we have to do something more in our personal time outside this maybe even 14 hour work week to make this money if we don't find a new way to supply in come to our lives then we're never going to be able to escape this system and go do what we want to do by myself i have a book out now i run an online shop i have a patron i used to work a full-time job up until just a few months ago so that's five different things at once i was working on to put myself in a very comfortable position i didn't have to worry about making sure my rent was due which is how it was for a while this kind of effort this taking the free time you have in your life and devoting it towards something that can manifest into a reality that you can life off is the second key to really escaping the system and it is the only one that will really make that change a lot of people blank plain and simple or lazy human beings they don't want to do this they want to go to work come home and go to sleep and wake up the next day and it is hard not to do that I'm so how that life is but we have to find a way to escape this basically you have to make what you do a commodity you can live off if you like to teach, teach if you like painting then you paintings on etsy and maybe once in a while they might sell if you like poetry then write a poetry book and it might take off you never know until you try until you make your art form a commodity and we do what we love and we can learn to make it an income for us we no longer work a day in our lives i don't see anything i do any longer as work because i love. All the hours i put into researching my information and putting in the articles for you guys and working on because it is something i could do for the rest of my life and the best part about it is that it funds my food and you have to find something in your live that can do that for you as well that's the only way this change will ever really truly adapt and become a tangible thing to your life we live in a western culture where free time as synonymous with lazy time with time to do all the lame stuff that doesn't really make progress and we celebrate that but you don't have to live that way you have to turn this free time into progressive self-growth time and time in development that you can make that can get you away from this system and into a situation where you're not a wage slave where you are slaves to nothing that you can do whatever you want in manifest whatever you want through patients through time dedication and through love for whatever art from you may follow so anyways that is way slavery at its core. with our money and spend less and then there's the second one or the one that will really make us the money we need and that is earning more than we have right now.

Thank you guys for read this article I'll see you guys next time!

Great article. Getting out of this cycle truly starts with how a person perceives what and how much they need - it is not what you make it is what you spend. I think with the revolution of crowdsourcing, freelancing on the internet, decentralized economics, and micro living on the rise we will see a change in the consciousness of "work" and how much people think they need to live. People are still deeply ingrained in the corporate mindset - it is understandable because it is security for many, hopefully this changes.

Thank you for taking the time to write this @abirahsan - I've been an independent contractor for a long time, with spats of working a JOB. In my way of thinking, a J-O-B means Journey Of the Broke. I worked in corporate and every year saw less and less that I could bank on. As a hard worker, I figured, HEY, if I'm going to work this hard for others, why not put that energy into my self??? Indeed, I'd rather have the opportunity to be my own FREE person and put in 80 solid hours to increase my business than 40 hours for corporations who don't care.

Nobody wants to know (:
