How to grow your own salad: easy enough for children
SproutsbySprouts.org
This video is from Monday's salad at the Marsh Children's Home in Acapulco, Mexico. Just wanted to show how quick easy and fun it is to grow salads, prepare them, and plant new ones before eating the spoils of the day!
The plan we are achieving in baby steps is to help the Marsh Children's Home to become more food independent. Over 60 children currently depend on donations for food.
Growing their own food and fishing for their home is how we intend on supporting their sovereignty. So far, we built a sprout station that is feeding everyone multiple times per week! Also, we have enjoyed 3 fishing classes plus the boys even caught a bunch of fish!
SproutsbySprouts.org to learn more and how you too can support these incredible children!
The Marsh Children's Home houses over 60 children. Most come from tribal pueblos that don't speak Spanish. They speak indigenous native languages and live in remote villages in the mountains.
Jovita runs the home. She is an 89year old sweetheart, who herself grew up an orphan. Supporting this home is truly doing God's work. Join the team! Donate today at SproutsbySprouts.org
