You pay tribute to one or more 'special' organizations.

Your 'church' is a 501(c)3 corporate state entity.
~
'America the Beautiful' brings tears to your eyes.
~
Your version of Romans 13 mentions 'governing authorities.'

Things here are rotten to the core. The root cause seems to be people. People are rotten to the core! Maybe when the machines fully take over things will improve lol. Wonder if machines would learn evil?

The sad and strange thing, is it is not so much the evil people that manipulate the populace from behind the scenes... It is, rather, the "average joe" who is affected by the irrational belief that a man or group of men have some magical authority to rule the rest of us... :O
If we simply refused to allow it, the tiny gangs in Washington, Sacramento, and other "capitals" couldn't rape us all the way they are accustomed to doing...
You might be a State worshiper if you believe you, I, or anybody else is obligated to participate in and fulfill a social contract upon birth or any other virtue which doesn't include full consent.
TL,DR: If you use the phrase "Social Contract" to justify why I owe anybody anything.

Taxation is theft, but I do show symptoms of being a state worshipper and will probably never be cured.😉
The beginning of a cure is recognizing the truth of the situation, so there is some hope!😉
However, the real solution is to find a true and worthy object of worship. For me, that has been to learn of and come to recognize Jesus/God as my Creator, whom (as Creator) I acknowledge as having the absolute right to rule me. And the cool thing is, I couldn't ask for a better, kinder, more loving ruler.
