Well you do make some people wealthy by taxes. The bureaucrats and people getting portions of the taxes.
Even then so much of it is wasted.
Overall though, I agree with you. I am a nutty anarchist after all.

Yes, but that is not fair, they havent done anything productive, they are just stealing our money.
To become wealthy in a fair competitive way, you need to create something that is worth a lot.
Well that has nothing to do with fair. There is fair and then there is theft. That is actually just evil and a crime. We endorse it because we give into their appeal to authority. Yet why wouldn't we. They are a big gang. If we didn't let them steal our money, they'd try to fine us, if we didn't pay the fine, they'd try to throw us in a cage, if we resisted that they would kill us.
So we pay their extortion.
