That is actually not true. The ant colony may look like a collectivist slave camp, but scientists have studied them and realized that all ants have individual choices and are not working together beause they are forced to, but because it is optimal for all of them. In simple words, they are more like a collaborational society, rather than a slave society. Look it up for yourself.
