A friend of mine on Facebook, J. Perez, wrote this amazing post tonight and I am going to share it with y'all. (all proceeds from this article will go to him - maybe it will convince him to stop writing his best stuff on Facebook and come over here to Steemit...)

Do what thou Wilt shall Be the Whole of the Law

I was thinking about the law of Thelema and the message Jesus gave us, because I consider myself an Anarcho-Christian and a Thelemite.

Part of this is from understanding how Thelema can free one from mind-control which is implemented by governments and established religions if it is viewed from the right understanding.

The first part,

Do What Thou Will Shall Be The Whole Of The Law ...It is an understanding that you are responsible for your own actions, your will is always a voluntary action. If you choose to serve the Great Work, then you choose to do God's Will (Natural Law), which you will come to understand is your own true Will.

Do the Great Work

and the Universe will assist you, do anything else and you create suffering. Many a magician or curandero has tricked themselves into sorcery by thinking this law means to do whatever they wish, whether it be moral or not. They fail to see the star-sponge Crowley spoke of.

Yes, we are all individuals,

but we are still all connected. Just as every man and every woman is a star, they still compose the whole universe. Liber Legis states "we are divided for loves sake, for the chance of union".

I take this to mean our individuality is dissolved once we return to God, the Source. So there is really no difference between you and me.

As Above, So Below

If anyone is suffering, then I am suffering, none of us are free if one of us is in chains. However, since we are individuals no one can free us from the binding (religion) of mind control (government) but ourselves. Thus you must voluntarily choose to will it to happen. This is reclaiming your sovereignty, this is also God's Will, and the Great Work.

Many will not take this initiative (initiation) which is why Liber Legis says, the slaves shall serve. Few stars stand alone and stand out. Most are content with being part of a galaxy or nebula.

Part Two,

Love is the Law, Love under Will

Only the Sorcerers will take this to mean Eros or Philia, but those doing the Great Work understand it to mean Agape. This is also Jesus' message, to care for each other, to not do to others what we would not want done to ourselves.

But it must be done under Will. It must be voluntary, of your own free will. It must be done by you, you cannot absolve your responsibility to an external authority.

Anarchy

Some Sorcerers seek to mind control (government) others into doing this through socialism, but it doesn't count if it is forced. Liber Legis doesn't say we are a collective of stars, it is clearly directed at the individual, and so is for the sovereigns who will not be ruled by another, which are Anarchists.

Not Anarchists who are Sorcerers, but Anarchists who follow Natural Law, which is do no harm, but take no shit and don't steal.

And so fulfillment of the Law of Thelema requires Jesus' message of Agape and Anarchy through Natural Law. This I believe will bring Light, Life, Liberty, and Love to a world growing more dark, dead, enslaved, and fearful.

Love is the Law, Love under Will

Wow... those are some insightful and powerful words and ideas. To be honest, I had not heard the term "Anarcho-Christian" till just now; appreciate the share. The art is quite beautiful, too...

thanks for the compliment on my work, @reddragonfly! Regarding Anarcho-Christians, actually, I think @joanaltres calls herself an Anarchist Christian and there is a channel on steemit.chat they use, but they are Bible-oriented, unlike my friend and I. I have met Pagan Christians as well, but like my friend said in a comment - he is not pagan because he believes in one God. I hold his same views, although I am not all that familiar with Thelema. I do use my psychic and magickal abilities for the purpose of following Natural Law, but I also have a relationship with JC that has been profoundly personal and empowering like no other...and I am an anarchist...hence I see JC as the ultimate anarchist. I actually see Him as the human expression of Natural Law, and always have. I am a strong believer in that His true story was stolen and replaced by the ridiculous Astrotheological story of so many other "prophets" through the ages - and it was stolen by the powers that should not be, who want to control the masses, and do so by rapping nuggets of truth in wads of poop...hence the bible as we know it today with about 14 books missing...

I have always had issues with the idea of "religion" as opposed to "faith" and "spirituality." For me, religion is something created by men to gain power, wealth and influence through misrepresenting sacred ideals through doctrines of fear. Like many other things-- politics, the media-- religion has become yet another "don't think for yourself" control mechanism...

Exactly! I am right there with you... I cannot tolerate religious dogma. If I can't make use of it right here right now, I want no part of it. and that's not to say - Ihad used the psalms for years before I realized that they were written by a slave to his master who he believed was his god - and so that stuff works - but now that I can see it through those eyes I won't be using it anymore.

I think Anarcho-Christian is a term that fits me very well too. 😚

nice post sir.plz upvote my post

I think you have more creative ideas about drawing...and painting...

Cheers~~~~Wow...such a wonderful artwork by @in2itiveart

thank you @dinisanda - I just grabbed some work from my website to illustrate my friend's fantastic article!

Is your friend on this site? I would love to have a conversation with them to understand how they are reconciling two WILDLY different ideologies (especially considering Thelema is directly supposed to destroy Christianity.)

nope. He's on facebook. I think he pretty much covers it in the above.

This article gives me a better understanding of the connections surrounding natural law. It starts to make more sense now.

I am glad to meet a fellow AnChristian :-D such a wonderful post.
Im new here and i will be following you. :-) god bless

Hi I reposted this from facebook - I did not write it. My friend J Perez, from San Antonio, who hosts the Mark Passio What On Earth Is Happening Podcust Study Group posted it. thanks

I will have to look into Mark Passio... I never herd of it. But I did read that I just assumed you yourself were an anarchist

Oh I am an anarchist for sure - and a Christian of a sort... but very informally.
I thought what Jose wrote was brilliant so I reprinted it here - I think you would probably love Mark Passio http://www.whatonearthishappening.com/ I would recommend his podcasts from 1-196 in order- he will be starting a new tv show in a few months, as well. Mark, also an anarchist, exposes the occulted knowledge used by the control system.
