In this video, I talk with Jeff Berwick of The Dollar Vigilante about the many solutions out there that one can utilize to solve the many problems of the state.
The main problem we see in the anarchist communities is that people complain far too much and do too little. Yes, the state is terrible, but what are we doing about it?
With the advent of the blockchain, there are so many possibilities coming up in our future for us to be able to create amazing alternatives to the state on the free market on the blockchain. The infrastructure is simply in its beginning phases.
Jeff talks about the incredible possibilities that come with the blockchain technology that's constantly advancing by the day.
Interestingly, one doesn't even need to convince the populace of anything. While terrible things come to us under the guise of "convenience" we can use the same form of convenience to free the world. People will simply one day realize that they've unwittingly replaced the state with free market infrastructure on the blockchain!
Jeff also talks about the issues many anarchists have with organization. Organizational skills are an incredibly important part of being responsible for outcomes. Considering that freedom is simply just individual responsibility, it makes sense that organizing should be one of our hallmarks, but unfortunately many mix up rules with rulers. Voluntary organization is not the same as enforced collective servitude. Jeff has seen the backlash of this issue quite significantly lately and talks a bit about how it has affected his event.
Finally, Jeff talks about John Galton who we lost in January in Acapulco. Is Acapulco safe? Should we be worried? Can we stop being keyboard detectives spreading false information and instead focus on remembering those we lost?
There's so much to talk about as per usual and we always appreciate talking with Jeff. Anarchy is becoming more and more "cool" and he's been a big part of making that happen.
