MY way of asking questions and trying to find answers to the awesomely complex problems which beset this world is to checkout mythologies. Mythology are the stories we are told and tell ourselves.
9/11 is a myth, and is being used to impose a reality over one and all globally. So mythis is not just some thing from our past. the powers that be are forever trying to create myths so as to manipulate our sense of reality.
I am not anti-myth either, because mythos can be a natural process in a mysterious world and universe whereby stories form creatively exploring the ambiguities of reality, and its mysteries. But when it becomes TOXIC--which happened very much with the invention of writing-- is when the danger really comes to be.
Rap music creates myths based on --in its commercial gangsta-posing-phony--materialism, misogyny, homophobia, and violence. This WILL have an effect on black males, and that is its intended purpose usually pushed by very rich white men behind the scenes. Becoming aware and exposing all of this this etc is getting down to the real nitty gritty!
