El Viaje a Acapuclo (The Journey to Acapulco)

in #anarchy6 years ago

Just four months ago, I made a quite drastic lifestyle change; I strategically relocated 14 hours south to Austin, Texas, far away from my family. I knew some anarchists in the area, but that was about it. I was starting over in a very real sense.

Fast forward to today and my expectations of Austin were a bit disappointing, namely the cost of living.

I’m a nomad again, but with a much more radical destination: Acapulco, Mexico.

Starting two days ago, I am now tent camping in Liberty Hill, Texas, about 25 miles north of Austin. For $6/night it’s a helluva deal, except for the historic flooding here — oh well, a little rain isn’t too much to handle!

I’ll be here until Friday afternoon and then I will rendezvous with my father before I leave town. Then, on Sunday, I’ll meet up with fellow vonuan, Jason Henza, and we will head south towards Acapulco.

Lucky for you, I’ll be documenting this whole adventure. Most of it will be public (via live-streams and such), but I am doing a special series for Patreon patrons only — www.patreon.com/vonu. You’re going to want to get on board if you aren’t already.

I’m ready for this next adventure! It will be extremely valuable information for vonuans and great experience for me — I hope you’re able to gain some insight as well.

The following videos are the first couple livestreams. More posts will follow as I have access to Internet.
