Was the CIA successful with there plan to decieve?

Hi everyone

I heard this a while ago that the CIA director William Casey said "We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false" so I looked into it and it seems, some say its not true, and some say it is. And whether he actually said it or not, I tend to think after researching into lots of different "Conspiracy's" that what he said is true. Now I have been diving down the rabbit hole for awhile and have looked into about everything from Flat Earth to humans being farmed chattel and most of these things maybe not always 100% provable there is truth to them and there is more to the story than what you hear on mainstream media. The average person obviously will think all these things are absolutely crazy while never even looking into any of them and just believing what they are fed. If you have looked into things then I am sure you can or have come to the same conclusion that everything we are told is false, just look at our world I don't think I can think of many things that haven't been tainted by the government. The food, medical system, science, information, education system, money and that's not even everything. The good news is that people are waking up and things like STEEMIT are bypassing a lot of the government bull and hopefully the blockchain technology will bypass the government all together and make them nonexistent so all their control systems will just go away and the world can be truly free.
