That's the common sense part. There's really no problem when people are using reasonable resources for their needs. It's when they start claiming large chunks of land. Usually this goes hand in hand with rent extraction. Why should I have to pay someone just for existing and needing a spot to live?

Some people may want a big house and a large garden, others are fine living on small space and instead use their money on travel. Free markets allow everyone to get what aligns with their needs without having to resort to violence or a one-size fits all solution
