Most people are not black and white on moral issues. They will remain in what they see as status quo and believe morality is a grey area. I think they really need to hear taxation is theft over and over, but not by one individual but many. If they hear "taxation is theft" and "immoral" and then "backed up by violence and coercion" from enough people then their minds may be disturbed enough especially if they have some rationality to their thinking to reassess their view. Eventually "slavery is immoral" was totally accepted. I think the same can happen if "taxation is theft" and "immoral" is a common response. I don't think slavery would have been eradicated if we were soft on how wrong it is.

You make a good point! I'm glad that more people are hearing taxation is theft. Some people will be convinced by getting hit in the head, metaphorically speaking. And some will be convinced using a softer approach. No one individual is exactly the same as another. Following you. :)
Unfortunately there are millions of slaves being forced to work in America.
While the proposition that 'slavery is immoral' has been accepted, people are easily led to ignore 'special cases' like prisoners. Slavery may be universally reviled, but it is practiced today in all 50 states.
Very good point! And very unfortunate indeed...
