The red ant is one of the fire ants belonging to the genus Solenopsis. This genus consists of about 270 species spread all over the world, from the tropics to the subtropics. Normally, these ants are spread by seasonal movements, flying, and carrying floods. All workers are able to sting and enter the toxins that cause red spots and allergies. A red ant will stick his jaw teeth, bend his stomach down, and sting repeatedly by inserting his poison.
