Having an appropriate tools for dog is necessary to maintain and keep them groomed.
Here in my post, I'll get to share the difference of one type among the rest. Long haired dog needs different brush from a small thinned hair dog.
- Shedding blade
With it's small one sided teeth, this is best for flat and short type of dog, this thin stainless steel brush can be used even to the combination of both.
- Curry brush
Made of soft, rubber material, this brush are best to used for dogs that heavily sheds hair. Both human and dogs will find this very comfortable because of it's shape and softness.
- Bristle brush
Use a bristle brush to remove dead hair and keep coat shinny. The shorter and longer the hair/coat of a dog, the shorter and longer the brush bristle is needed. This is usually made out of natural and synthetic bristle. You may choose the softness and length of its bristle when you visit your preferred pet store.
- Pin brush
It has pins on the head and tipped was made by rubber. Best used for curly haired, wired coated, silky coat as well as medium to long haired dogs. It removes tangles and a pin brush helps get rid off dead hairs too.
- Undercoat rake
Thick coat and sheds a lot? this is the best tool brush for such. With it's 2 metal prongs similar to rake's appearance, even chunks shedding can be managed by this brush.
- Slicker brush
It's a curvy brush that composes of thin fine wires. This can be used to remove top and undercoat's dead hair. Great for soft coated- small dogs. Use it gently as applying too much pressure can harm our dog.
