The chameleon is a kind of small lizard that used to live in trees. Chameleons are exotic animals of the reptile class (lizard). It looks like an ancient animal. The shape is apparently very similar to its iguanas lizard kin. The chameleon is also one of the most famous reptiles especially in the native regions of the African continent and Madagascar, found in several other places in Europe and Asia. There are over 120 species belonging to the chameleon family. The most common chameleon (Chamaeleo) is found in the Mediterranean region.
