Another totally daft animal poem for kids
ANIMAL ANTICS
There's a frog on a log in a bog,
There's a bat on a mat in a flat,
There's a kitten that is sittin' on a mitten,
And a fish looking swish in a dish.
There's a duck on some muck in a truck,
There's a crab looking fab in a cab,
There's a lori saying sorry in a lorry
And a sheep going beep in a jeep.
There's a pike with a bike on a hike,
There's a crane going insane on a plane,
There's a sparrow on a very narrow barrow
And a huss in a fuss on a bus.
There's a bug looking snug on a rug,
There's a toad with a load on a road,
There's a meerkat with a queer cat on a beermat,
And a pig looking big on a twig.
There's a shark with a spark in the dark,
And a hen with some men in a den,
There's a pheasant with a pleasant-looking peasant,
And an owl cheek-by-jowl with a fowl.
There's a cow with a plough and a sow,
There's a horse with some force on a course,
There's a weasel with an easel getting diesel
And a quail with a tail on a pail.
There's a goose in a noose on the loose,
There's a dog in the fog on a jog,
There's a koala going la-la at a gala
And a ram going wham in a jam.
There's a fox wearing socks in a box,
There's a cat with a hat in a vat,
There's some llamas with some farmers in pyjamas
And a goat in a coat on a boat.
There's some ants on some plants wearing pants,
There's some roos full of booze wearing shoes,
There's a lion made of iron with a tie on,
And a crow with a bow on his toe.
There's a grub in my sub at the pub,
There's a fly I can spy in a pie,
There's a spider that's inside a glass of cider,
And a snake that will take all my cake.
There's a seal doing a deal for a meal,
There's a bull with a full bag of wool,
There's a bunny looking funny with some money
And a whale buying a veil in a sale.
There's a deer feeling queer over here,
There's a tic looking sick on a chick,
There's an adder looking sadder on a ladder,
And a boar feeling sore near a door.
There's a mink that I think will soon sink,
There's a hawk going squawk that can't walk,
There's a very honkey donkey, looking wonkey,
And a hare and a mare worse for wear.
There's a lark making its mark in the park,
There's a shrew with a crew in a queue,
There's an eagle on a beagle looking regal,
And a yak who is back with his pack.
There's a lioness I guess can play chess,
There's a stag you can nag to play tag,
There's a dingo name of Ringo who'll play Bingo,
And a mule who plays pool like a fool.
But this long run of fun is now done,
Say goodbye to the skylark and fly,
Best wishes to the fishes, don't forget to do the dishes,
And cheerio to the crow ─ now let's GO!
