i have 3 or 4 magpies that used to visit me regular. i will try to get a pic of me hand feeding one when they come back.
This fella has become quite tame. He is proof they recognise people. Does not give a damn about me but takes off if anyone else walks near. How did the one the girls were rearing go?
Didn't make it one night - not sure why - very sad for all.
Birds can be a bit like that. Sad indeed.
Surprised it's not attempting to dive bomb you to death like they usually do. Mad birds...
That is usually late spring to early summer when they have young in the nest. I never get harassed.
