Three little piggies, eh? So are you the big bad wolf?
Pig manure makes great fertiliser once composted. Got to be sure it is well broken down or it is too rich for a lot of plants, but once it has, it is some of the best fertiliser there is. Possibly better even than chook manure.
You can also make it up to a liquid fertiliser.
We used to have a 44gallon drum. Half filled with pig manure, filled with water, lid on, allow to fester for a while, a few months, and watered the gardens once a week with diluted servings. Best vege gardens in the region.
Also did this with carp and chook manure. The worms love the gardens this water is used upon. Just make sure it is well brewed so you don't burn the roots or leaves and tips of the plants.
Oh wow, carp and chook manure? I can't wait for aquaponics!
Aquaponics is a great thing. Growing up your fish whilst at the same time growing healthy and nutritious vegetables. What could be better than that?
