In the south of Portugal and Spain, they can be seen running free, in the countryside.
This is the wild bull (Bos taurus), the descendant of a extinct ox called aurochs (Bos primigenius), who lived in freedom on the forests of Europe, Asia and Africa.
Today, the wild bull it's breeded in the Iberian Peninsula, exclusively to participate in the famous bullfights, so popular in the two Iberian countries.

It is true I also don't like the tradition that we have in Portugal, but the truth is that these animals are very lucky due to the traditions they are allowed to live freely and truly be wild.
In comparison the meat that arrives our plates are raised without any '' humanity'' living enclosured and this people don't talk about..
People should think better of the line drawn of what animals are good for pets and not for killing
