i ♥ Photography - Horse-y!

in #animalphotography7 years ago (edited)

Hello Steemit Fretz!

This photo was taken when we went to Palawan Eco-Park. Aside from zip-lining, one of the activities offered at the park was horseback riding. I never tried riding a horse so I was a bit excited.

Expectation versus Reality. I barely moved> I was imagining that I could ride and be like those in Marlboro Commercials where they really rode the horses gracefully. Apparently, there wasn't even a tiny bit of gracefulness in my body. We just stood there and I was too afraid to make the horse move. lol

Well, I let me fear get a hold of me but I was still happy then. I get to ride a horse! lol

I do hope you are all having a fun weekend my fretz!

Haha! Horseback riding is fun and I hope you try again and relax! The key is to relax and move WITH the horse. ♥

Thanks. Yes, I'll keep that in mind if I get to ride one again!

Cool photo, @dawnsheree! I haven't ridden a horse for ages. I was always very awkward on horseback tbh, but I would love to ride a horse once again :)Maybe I'll have a chance to do that soon, as there is a stable in my neigbourhood. Would you like to try riding a horse again yourself?
All the best,
Klaudia

Hello Klaudia!

I'm not sure if I can do it alone. I should have a guide beside me while doing it. I was afraid of falling. I'm not sure if I'd feel the same way in the future. ^^

What a beauty!

It is truly!

Very good looking horse mate!

Thanks mate :)

lol great post. I think practice makes perfect. Maybe next time riding the horse will be easier!

I hope I can practice every which unfortunately is impossible. We don't have stables. Maybe on my next trip if they do have one, I better give it another try.

ahahahhaa yeah its such a different feeling when you have a living animal between your legs and fearful of being thrown out.

:) I'm glad you get me Mave! Do you know how to ride one?

Wow that is a gorgeous horse. I love riding though it's been years since I went. I know what you mean too about envisioning how it will be, only to find the reality quite different. I'm 6'3" and it's still a long way up to mount a horse. That means it's just as far as distance down if you should fall. Staying still is not so bad. Hehe. :)

Hahhaha! Great point there. Oh my I'm half as short as you and I had some help getting up but horses I rode was not as gigantic as those I see in other countries. Thanks for stopping by and making me laugh a bit. ^^

how sweet is THAT horse! too cute!! thank you for sharing a great shot. ;)
