I think that if anything stands out to me in these pictures, it is the detailed colors of each bird -- the iridescent patch on a lapwing's wing, the jewel-toned beauty of pheasants, the yellow indeed of yellowhammers (which I first learned about because of Beethoven's Sixth Symphony). I also was struck by the reflections of both the pied avocets and the swan, and how the color picked up with such accuracy even in the reflections. I really enjoyed looking at these -- Danke sehr!
