My family I went and visited my sister and her family today. Out at her place they have a bunch of chickens and a pig named Batman that was supposed to be a miniature pig. Well he isn't very miniature anymore.
My niece and I got him some apples and nectarines for him to eat. I got inside the pig pen with him while he was chowing down. Batman is a pretty cool pet. They let him in the house every now and then too.

I already submitted this photo in one of your contests (not sure which one though) but I think it fits here too as it is about unusual pets. So there you go - this is Claude, a beautiful male of the Australian red-clawed crayfish. He is about 23 cm (9 in) long.

Well mine is going to be my newest baby boy 💙 a squirrel that i just found in my backyard on Friday. He has a broken leg and his eyes weren't open yet but did open the next day. Its been a little challenging due to ive never been this close to a squirrel let alone hand raise one. But after a few days im finding it to be like raising baby rabbits. I use to be a breeder back on maui so from time to time i had to raise the babies if the mom wasnt wanting to.

We used to raise hairless rats and mice a long time ago. Always sold out quick when we had some for sale. Used to ride on my shoulder everywhere we took them. Sorry, no pictures that was 18 years ago.
I had pet rats too and love them. Looking forward to have again.

I grew up in a very rural small town. We had pigs, rabbits, cows, chickens and all that. In elementary school we all got a baby duck for some reason and I raised mine to duck-adulthood. His names was Waddles and he'd fly all around town, but always came back home to us.
Now we've been through the gamut with a ball python, ferrets, cats, dogs, leopard gecko and a rabbit.
