AnimalPhotography - More Furry Animals - Appreciate the small things!

in #animalphotography7 years ago (edited)

After my fun post about the furry Tenrec from Black River Gorges in Mauritius, I thought it would be cool to continue with the trend and post more furry animals I photographed.

This time as a complete coincidence, while stopping to take photos of a Black-backed Jackal (or Canis mesomelas) on a game drive in the Addo Elephant National Park, we spotted two small field mice. How cute?!

We saw zebra, elephant, lions and kudu's on the game drive but never thought we would also see these two cute animals.

It just shows you, never forget to appreciate (and look for) the small things in life... they might be right in front of you! ;)

Adorable photos :) They all look like there were posing for you, even the little rodents that are hardly ever still I think :) Nice! Good luck in the contest, I usually compete in this category too (you know how much I love animals) but I went for the food contest this time :)

Thanks, they are damn cute right. ;) I can also not belief they sat that still... especially in a nature reserve where there are tons of birds of prey around. ;)

Those are some amazing shots, what are those, rats? They seem to be bigger than them. Also can you share the confitions you used to capture these pics, amazing photography buddy.

Thanks. I think they are mice... they look big because of the 300mm Canon lens I had on. ;)

Here is some of the configuration:

Camera: Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL
Lens: 75-300mm f/4 5-38
Focal Length: 255mm
CCD Width: 22.4
Exposure Time: 0.002s (1/500)
Aperture: 6
ISO: 400

Very beautiful)

Excellent photographs! The little ones are adorable.

Thanks, glad you like them. ;)

Those mice are seriously cute beings 😍 Awesome photos!

Thanks, agreed. ;)
