Breeding birds in their nests

From time to time I am able to see some birds breeding and I know I don#t want to disturb them too much so I only take some pictures when I know I am far enough away and when I feel that the birds are still comfortable with my presence. Owls are some birds that I already found often in trees near Cementaries and one day I also found this breeding owl sitting on its nest. In direct neighbourhood a family of falcons also used a nest in a tree for some breeding activity. I went there for some short pictures and didn't stay long since I didn't want to disturb these birds.

But It is always very nice seeing birds that build their nest and stay there without moving so you don't discover them so easily.

incredible animals' protective instincts

I had no idea that owls had those long tufts above their eyes as we rarely see them here. I might just head up to the forested hills on the outskirts of the city, and maybe I'll get to spot one. Great pics!

It’s kinda funny we as humans oftentimes forget how good their eyes are so when we are quite far we think they don’t see or notice us. In reality they see us very clearly 😂

The owl looks so cool! I thought the falcon was the baby hahah. Would you be able to check on them in weeks and see the growth?
