Having adopted a number of those lovely critters, I wanted to share some of the pictures of them with you all.
The eldest is already 14 years old and used to be a feral who knew how to use claws and teeth to their full effect.
Then a few years back I fell in love with another 'lost soul' and adopted him too. He is now grown into a strong young lad, being almost 2 years old now.
The last one to join the family was our little gem. He is almost a year now and certainly knows how to get his own way. Then again how could we object this cutie.
So if you are ever considering an animal to join your family life, don't go out and purchase a cat or dog, do check out the many shelters where loving animals are looking for a good home like yours.
They will repay you with years of love and joy.
An adult lion's roar can be heard up to five miles (eight kilometers) away.
