This is an animal that can reach large sizes depending on the species; they tend to have green tones, which allows them to clamp down on the environment. It is a reptile, its skin is usually covered by scales, they have a dorsal crest that runs from the head to the tail. They have sharp claws, long and thin on their four legs, which are short. They eat leaves, fruits.
In Venezuela, it is widely distributed throughout the territory, and is generally presented in Central and South America.
