Handling snakes isn't always as glamorous as I make it look.
While they may be some beautiful and interesting creatures, photographing them can be difficult. Moreover, some of their defense mechanisms are rather unpleasant, like this one...
Yeah, that's called "musking." Basically, the snake lets all sorts of nasty and foul-smelling "stuff" out of its vent, and soon you're covered in it... Anyway, just know that it's worth it to bring you photos like these. Enjoy them!
