He sure was Trudee. I have a snake phobia and his face is snakelike but as long as there are legs on the critter, I don’t experience the fear. Silly I know.
Not silly at all Joanne. I share your snake phobia. I've come across a few of them since immigrating to Australia and they are not a pleasant sight when stumbling cross them......well, not literally, but too close for comfort, that's for sure. These lizards are much more approachable (from a safe distance) in my opinion.
He was very photogenic wasn't he Joanne? Two of my grandchildren were with me at the time and they were enthralled with the wildlife and lizards etc.
