Boat-Tailed Grackle
Grackles are common in Southeastern US especially Florida. The males have an iridescent black plumage while the females are brown and are slightly smaller. I took these photos in Viera, Florida.

How beautiful! Great shots, too. I would have just referred to the male as a blackbird, but I guess it's a different species, entirely. Thanks for sharing.
Blackbirds are a little smaller than grackles, but I would see them together in Florida. You would have to look closely to tell them apart.

The male looks like crow in blue version! Nice shots!
Thank you! The males are just a little smaller then crows and their beaks are much more pointy. When I first started photoing them I did think they were crows.
