Why are they called milk wasp does anyone know? How are the different from other wasp?
Its a local name used only because their bodies look like tiny milk bottles.

They are very strange and creepy creatures! I'm very afraid of any kinds of wasps.
They are peculiar and wonderful. There are 4 different wasp and bee hives all within a few feet of my house and I am never bothered by any of them whatsoever.. Their varying talents for construction is quite sublime! Thanks for commenting.
