As mentioned earlier, Vivi had undergone a THBSO (Total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy) surgery few weeks ago. As she wasn’t sterilised back then, she had an infected womb detected in early February.
She experienced some symptoms initially, yet too mild to be detected then. Upon realising her dark yellowish discharges with and without urination, there after followed by alittle of urinary incontinence, then we realised she was unwell.
A blessing in disguise, we met a team of passionate vets in the clinic. Their advices and reassurances made us felt much relieved. Ultimately, she went through a 6 hour operation in total sucesss. First few days of post-op, she showed no appetite and appeared fatigue. Thank goodness she recovered fast and eventually did not require syringe feeds and drips. We wish Vivi good health despite her relative old age of tens. ^_^
