Ms. B of Tilly's Tiny Family Farm

2018_Mar24MsB_edit.jpg
Ms. B may look familiar. I posted her in my blog update a bit ago but wanted to share this picture in the photography section. She is a darling little chicken and the smallest to boot. She doesn't get picked on at all tho since she's a quick little bugger. She's the only one you can pet and pick up. She loves a good snuggle... as long as you have her treats. Then you'll even get a little coo out of her. She likes to follow me around after I've filled all the feed and water containers. She seems to like staying away from the crowd of chickens, but don't get in her way if there are sliced grapes or cherry tomatoes!

Aww, shes beautiful! We are getting chickens by mid April! Looking forward to watching the grow with my kiddo and of course the wonderful fresh eggs! Cant wait for Sophia, my daughter, to experience having chickens. She absolutely loves animals! We already have two pygmy goats that she just adores. She will bring them treats, similar to the treats you chick likes... looks likes the goats are going to have to share! :D

Ms B is still a pullet, right? I recognise her breed, which was developed in my country. They grow large, are good layers and they make good eating

She's a bantam, full grown. I'm unsure of the breed since she was a gift from a friend. I think she said it was a cucko feather footed bantam?

Ah, I have it wrong, then. She looks a lot like this breed, which definitely aren't bantams, if you take a look at these http://www.grepoultry.co.za/Breeds.html

She kind of does, she's a short and sassy little lady tho :D
