I have yet to see a bee :) can't wait until the bumbles are back buzzing around.
i'm considering investing in some mason bees this year - there are some big, happy bumblers that showed up over the past weekend when it was sunny for two days in a row!
in Italian they are called " ape legnaiola"
it's a solitary bee, and it is totally harmless, if not provoked!
Thanks for the info! I don't ever provoke the bees ... which has been working in my favour, as I've never been stung by one :)
