Good question I explain: the pigs at birth, are born almost anemic, they require around 50 mg of iron a day at least, this amount can not be acquired through breast milk, the milk provided by their mother has only 1mg iron is why the third day should be placed iron, because they are unable to form globin in hemoglobin. when you put that injection are also susceptible to diarrhea because the bacteria that lives in your stomach has too much affinity for iron and you have to be aware of that. In this case they are 11 orphans and they could only survive 4 :(
