Adaptation difficulties

Today, a small pheasant with a broken leg was moved to a large aviary. He already walks pretty well, only has a slight limp. But things did not go too well. At first I tried to settle it with other pheasants. Problems started immediately. Other pheasants began to beat him. I had to catch him and settled him along with hens and pigeons. They took the new one well, no one tried to offend him. This situation did not surprise me. Male pheasants are very aggressive. They can even kill their own chicks. If the female hatches eggs, I place the male in another aviary to avoid unpleasant situations.

What a beauty. I am happy he is happy with the other birds now.

Glad you saved him in time...
