Our squirrels have almost completely changed their winter grey coats to bright red, summer ones. Now, when there is a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits, I try to reduce the amount of special food. Instead, I offer them fresh berries, fruits, vegetables. Most of all they love corn. This is both food and entertainment when they tear off the grains one by one.

We just have gray squirrels and an occasional black one over here... Red ones are cute...
We haven't black ones. But I've seen them and I like them very much!
