So, we got Jasper in 2013, our first family cat who loves all of us and we feel the same about him. He was 6 months old at first then 7 months old soon after. It's quite incredible looking back at our photos stored on the computer and seeing the absurd amount of photos, sometimes 15 of the same exact shot, and even hundreds per day (no joke), for the first few weeks we had him. I can always share many more photos and stories if requested, I have many, many more lol.
Here is day of my journal/ funny little story made around the time we got him:
"Recently I acquired a nice, gray cat called Jasper. Jasper has definitely been known as a cat that loves to entertain my family and I. He has had many silly endeavors in the past but the one over this past summer was by far the most uplifting of all. Early on a Saturday morning our family got up at an early time. The light shone through the windows as we looked to find our cat, as we loved to greet him early each morning.
Strangely, on this morning, we could not locate him. We searched all of the bathrooms and bedrooms; however, he would not turn up. As we went down into the basement, the one place we had not looked, the stairs creaked creepily. The hallway was dark and cold, but we made our way to the laundry room. As we turned the doorknob we hoped for the best. We entered the room and our eyes moved about.
The room was completely different from the rest of the house. It was bright, and it had a very upbeat tempo to it. We navigated to the laundry basket coated by a red towel, but something was coating the red towel. Our cat, a furry figure, was in the most ridiculous position any cat could ever be in. First of all he was lying on his back with his legs completely spread out.
His paws were tossed over to the right side of the basket. There was something particularly strange, but the rest of the family had already gone to retrieve their cameras. I noticed that Jasper had something in his mouth, and it was pink colored. Is that what I thought it was?
It was Jasper's tongue, plain as the eye can see, sticking completely out, and as he finally put his tongue back in the rest of my family came and saw him again. This event was particularly the best because of the fact that he looked so silly. In conclusion, we all came to love and enjoy our cat because of this incident, among others, and I know that I will always have the knowledge of his secret: his tongue."
Hope you enjoyed! Here's one more photo for your entertainment:
A very naughty cat indeed, when we first got him and still today. A storied lover of cobwebs. As you may have noticed, he has a white spot on his little cat chest. He is in fact half tuxedo, and half maine coon, and ended up with an incredible gray coat with that white spot, one at the bottom of his belly, and a tiny white streak under one of his paws.
