Honestly I appreciate the kind words, but 52% of the time I don’t know what I’m doing with a camera. I just get lucky. Ha! These pics were shot with a Canon T5, and 18-55 kit lens.
I have been dabbling for some time, but now I need to decide if I’m going to upgrade my camera, or get a computer capable of processing.....hmmm decisions!
I plan on doing a frog room post every Friday(if the little ones cooperate) so please watch for more!

No way I can't believe you took those with the kit lens! The rebel and 18-55 kit lens were my first digital photography experience. Those frogs must trust you to get so close! You really look like you know what you're doing!

I’m practically in the tanks a few times a week, so occasionally they give me a great opportunity.
I want to upgrade, but I’m not sure what direction to go, and what would be a good next level cam.
I get a lot of my friends asking me what camera they should get next and I can't help but tell you what my friends told me: If you're happy with the canon system, then don't get a new camera, get a new lens. I thought you were using a macro lens in your shots, maybe that might be something fun to try out with the frogs? It's also a good idea to rent a lens before you buy it. I've used borrowlenses.com a lot in the past, especially when I was building my kit.
