I have grown up with animals all my life, I have never not lived without a dog and can't see a life without them. I actually dread the time when I can't handle them anymore. Dogs especially have been my best friends for years, I have always had Mongrels (nothing wrong with that I know) but since school I had always wanted a GERMAN SHEPHERD
December 2000 My husband told me we were going for a drive, I had 2 young girls who were very exited about our trip but no one told me until we pulled up outside a shop In Whitburn, I could hear dogs and puppy's. When we went through they were expecting us. As soon as I saw them I was in tears, there was a 6 German Shepherd pups the mother and father were out the back for us to go and check on. We went straight through to the back first to see how good the parents were, they showed us there papers, they had won competitions, one was a short haired the other a long haired. Absolutely gorgeous placid animals, friendly and very well trained, SO now was the time to go pick my Christmas Present
Sheara my best friend, shadow for 10 years unfortunately we lost him August 15th 2010, That date is etched on my brain. He was a large dog but so loving and kind, he wouldn't hurt a fly. A few years before he died we got...
As you can see Geordie's legs are a bit wrong so needs extra care, he was bought for me too to keep me company as I was becoming more housebound. Geordie used to get very fond of Sheara's leg, All Sheara used to do was shake him off, he never got angry with him even though Geordie still thinks he's a Doberman.
When we lost Sheara we had Geordie for a year by himself then got the chance to rescue a little dog called
How can you not fall in love with that face.
I have never once wanted to hurt my babies even when Sheara chewed the end of a £1000 fire and surround. Anyone hurting any animal have got no heart they don't deserve the love from these animals. Hearing a animal cry is heartbreaking, I could never inflict pain on them.
All they ask is a home. food and love. There's nothing better than a cuddle from your furbaby :)

Those dogs are adorable.
I love all dogs would love to have a big enough house and garden to have more rescue babies. This one looks so relaxed and happy
such beautiful dogs. there is something truly wrong with those that hurt animals.
I do miss Sheara but then we wouldn't have got Mika, i hate seeing the pictures on fb about the abuse It turns my stomach.
Agree with you 100% - I love my 2 'furbabies' - both rescue . Each day is a joy with them as they just give me so much pleasure having them around. Dread the day when I have to say goodbye to them :( but for now I have another 10 years to enjoy them and I will. Your dogs pics are lovely, and yes I could love that little ones face x
I dread that too, makes me feel sick thinking about it but got to enjoy every minute they are here. She's a cutey
Thank you
