I actually don't think the economy is bad, I think we're coming off from an all-time high stock market and this may shift consumer merchandise markets. I used to work for Amazon logistics last year, and I know they are still hiring at a rapid pace. There are fewer retailers to choose from in terms of finding competitive labor wages :( Amazon warehouses opening up left and right. Amazon laid me off for a situation out of my control when a plane crashed over John Wayne airport last year.
Everyone I know is using Amazon for everything, even my family overseas who don't have access to Amazon ironically. I am still using it as well, even though I lost my job from them.
