Yesterday, our first baby chick ever was born!
Pinkie-Pepper found it, who told @mama-pepper who called @papa-pepper who named it "Steemie." We weren't sure how good it would do, but it made it through the night sleeping under the wing of its mama.
This morning Red-Pepper and Pinkie-Pepper went out to look and see how it was.
Pinkie-Pepper had to reach under the wing of the mother hen to find it.
Sure enough, it was alive and well. In the photo above it even looks like it is waving "hi."
In other news, the other hens are still laying.
We also saw that when we looked in the hen house. The @little-peppers suggested that we take a photo, so here it is. Enjoy your eggs folks!

Woo Hoo? That's my line.
We know, it was a tribute!
Thanks Son.
Hello pepper's, you have a great day down there. That little chick is so glad to give chance to see the world. If that chick is unlucky, when still an egg, it might end up to fried egg for breakfast
Yes, we are very happy that it is a chick and not just an egg for breakfast!
