Dearest @transparencybot,
This time you made your comment so promptly and readily. I would be heartened except that the memory of your neglect pains me. Why must your affections be so fickle? My heart longs to respond to your attention, but my prudent relatives advise me to keep you at arm's length. I am at a loss to decide my course of action.
P.S. Minnowbooster is still not a bidbot.
This is certainly one of the most catching replies yet, tou are a wordsmith.
Sorry the bot was delayed in the past, not sure why.
You are correct, MW and SS are not "bidbots" but they are paid bots, that upvote in return for payment. There is really no difference. MW and SS do offer guaranteed returns, but the comment by transparencybot is not about P/L but about upvotes received on the post that have been purchased in one way or another.
I see a huge difference between a bot that exists to drive losing bids from users desperate for attention and a service that allows regular users to buy votes from others at a discount. (Smartsteem is a bidbot though. Smartmarket isn't.)
If you were to change it to "paid upvote bots" you wouldn't get that complaint from me anymore. I have plans for the letter game though.
The paid upvotes is a great, but I fear that authors who received the votes when someone else paid for them will then object.
I may float it and see if it sinks.
Blessings!
