I know there was supposed to be some sort of moral lesson I was supposed to get out of that, but I did not get it one bit. The dude literally killed himself to catch a kid who was about to trip right? (I hope I remembered that right)
I think these stories that try to talk about the concept of inevitability seem really dumb. I hate that Love Live bands never become professional idols. I don't think the idea of inevitable chaos and destruction from Akira is that interesting.
It just seems to me that bad things are all solvable or preventable. So I can't agree with the idea that these characters should just bend over and ask for it gentle.
