Of course you should keep doing animation! The world needs your creativity to brighten it. Now, should you make it a career? I don't know. But I do know that if you persist and keeping working at it, then you'll find out, as you go along, whether you can earn a living from it. But, sometimes the things that we love and are good at are things we can't earn a lot of money from. Money isn't the reason for everything we do, though, right? We share our gifts with the world, and sometimes we get paid, and sometimes we don't!

I appreciate it. It has been rather hard to pick back up because of the amount of time and effort that was put into it all lost from hardware failure. I have indeed been making other types of film. Mostly educational documentaries on Shockempire.com ..... But I think I might give animation another whack! :)

It’s heartbreaking to lose your work - and when we lose art we lose a part of ourselves so it’s doubly heartbreaking. Good for you for ploughing forward! Have you heard the story of Sequoyah? He worked on designing an alphabet for his language for years, but then his cabin burned down with all his work. But he started again, and this time he used a different approach - a successful approach! The fire turned out to be necessary for his success! (The old approach would have never worked.) May you find the same success as Sequoyah.
