Anime Review Time: Clannad
However strong-willed one might think they are, in actuality it's far easier to break than one might think. Emotions, far deadlier than torture. The feels, a tool which cannot and will not be ignored.
I do not know many whom have not watched Clannad. But those who have heard of it or seen it know of it to be a tearjerker. One might not expect as such from this anime, it's also quite old so it might be a hard watch for these "modern new age watchers", but whatever or whomever you watch it, it's well worth it. Perhaps it's the perfect test to find out if you're a sociopath or not? Perhaps it was the thing that reminded me that I was also, a human, this very anime was like a 1 tonn hammer hitting my defences, although it seems like it'd be sturdy, one has to guess again because that was not the case, no far from it! Whatever I tried, I simply couldn't defend myself, the supposed iron wall of mine couldn't... I like many others have to always remind ourselves however strong-willed and emotionless we might be or seem to be, Clannad will breach it.
It's been almost a decade for me since I watched Clannad, but it still brings me back to the time I could feel.What are you waiting for go watch it now, immediately.
