This was the year I watched the least anime. There is too much anime. The anime community feels more fragmented than ever. Also seasonal hit anime is forgotten so quickly. Overlord was boring. Darling in the Franxx was absolute trash. Goblin Slayer was just shock effect. I wonder if Gigguk was really that excited about this year's anime. That bunny girl anime and the slime isekai were okay. Violet ever garden, that antartica anime, that camp anime are all boring shows with pretty animation. That totally unnecessary LOGH adaptation made the characters in the original look so much dumber. Steins gate zero was boring and edgy. Didn't bother watching attack on titan iii since I had really read the manga. There was nothing really new this year... Megalo Box, Devilman, SSS Gridman. Hinamatsura was okay too.
