Anime I am watching so far for this season

in #anime7 years ago

After the 3rd episode these are some anime shows that I am digging.

Sakura card captor

A nostalgic anime I liked, probably the first slice of life type I truly enjoyed. Although I am more of a scenic and keep thinking about Madoka Magica as the anti-CCS. But is good to go back to a more innocent style.

Basilisk

From the cutsey to the gory and the violent, with ninjas and samurais killing each other. Really great sequel, also a nostalgic watch from the mid 2000's.

Kokkoku

Time freeze and other kind of crazy stuff happens during it. So this is a pretty interesting anime. Still not sure what my expectations are about it but looks good.

Overlords II

Another anime that is kind of violent and gory but definitely fun to watch.

Any other recommendation after having 3 episodes from the winter season?

I'm going through:
Overlord II (which has disappointed heavily so far)
Darling in the FranXX (which is a total mess after 2 episodes)
and Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On (ongoing kids show that started in October 2016)

I would not recommend any of these. Devilman Crybaby is looking like the strongest show this season, though I have not seen any Cardcaptor Sakura so that may be a challenger. Everything else is a waste of time. Very weak season.
